Teaching in her dynamic, ever evolving style, Karly is mainly influenced by Iyengar and Ashtanga, resulting in strong flowing sequences with particular attention to alignment.

With my hatha/vinyasa style you will build strength and flexibility, through working dynamically, and learn techniques to support the fluidity of your practice.

Karli’s yoga classes teach me a combination of strengthening exercises and stretches for the body, with breathing and meditation techniques for the mind, which makes them a fantastic way to keep healthy and develop our inner and outer wellbeing. I joined s a complete beginner and really noticed a difference to my core strength and suppleness within a few weeks. Each of the sessions provide a good balance of core practices plus a variety of new postures each week that keep the classes interesting, challenging and great fun. I would recommend them to everyone.

Last year a car crashed into the back of a friend’s car. I was in the passenger side and got severe whiplash, badly hurt hips and shoulders. I went over the normal amount of physio and still had pain. I couldn’t surf through neck pain, and all training stopped. I was recommended yoga and heard about Karli Yoga. I have been going now for about 1 year and the improvement has been amazing. The neck and shoulder pain was gone in 3 months. Everything else went back to normal within 6 months.
One year on I am feeling younger, more flexible, more energetic than I was before the crash. This sounds too good to be true but this is my experience and I cannot recommend Karli Yoga enough.

As a teacher, Karly is encouraging, funny and knowledgeable and her yoga practice reflects this. Working with the breath runs through every class, focusing, deepening the stretches, and most importantly bringing peace to the mind. I have been attending Karly’s classes for nearly two years and the benefits to my body and mind are huge. I have a stronger relationship with my body, and have learnt when to gently push myself and when to back off, great life lessons in general!

Karly came to our school once a week over a ten week period, and each time we had about an hour of yoga. It was brilliant! We learned loads of new ways to relax and to look after ourselves, and we all felt amazing at the end! Ten weeks wasn’t enough, we want her back!

I was recommended by a close friend to attend Karly’s yoga sessions …due to the stress I have been under and only wish I had gone sooner. I have done yoga before but many years back and never really got it and struggled with the basics. Not now, Karly is an incredible teacher, she is not only warm, friendly and welcoming, she really knows her stuff and explains things so well that where I have not been able to do things in the past I can now by her simple explanations and little hints and tips. Karly makes you feel so comfortable that I feel more confident and her sense of humour really add to the enjoyment of her class. From the first session I was a convert – I have tried other yoga classes, but found them lacking. The classes are always different and I always come away feeling stronger, more flexible, relaxed and that I have learnt something that I can use in my personal practice.
Karly herself has evolved as an instructor over the 2 years I have been attending her classes and this shows in the not just the number of clients now going to the sessions (both male and female), but also in the number of regulars who know they are onto a good thing.
I have been attending karli’s yoga classes for a year now. I started as a way of increasing my strength, flexibility and to improve my dodgy lower back! I find Karli to be a great teacher, rarely are her classes the same. I love that she focuses on the breathing as many other classes I have been to don’t. Her style of yoga can be quite intense and you really feel as if you are working every part of your body!
The classes are good fun and attended by lots of lovely people. Karli welcomes all levels and I feel as if my practice has grown and improved (although I still don’t practice everyday, sorry Karli!)”

I was very hesitant about joining a yoga class as I hadn’t done much exercise in the past and suffer with arthritis. I am so pleased I joined Karly’s class in Spain as an introduction, she was amazing. She didn’t make me feel out of place in a class of different levels.
